Dinner on Night # 1

The hotel provided a wonderful buffet style dinner for us at 8:00 P.M., shortly after our arrival at the hotel. It had a salad bar, grilled chicken in a wonderful sauce, potatoes, grilled vegetables, and bread. Special meals were provided for vegetarians and children with other needs. Creme brule for dessert. It was fantastic! We had about an hour to eat and have a talk by our foreign tour director, Daniel, before the Finish national hockey team came in to have their meal together. Everyone is tucked in and ready for tomorrow's tour of the Finish National Opera and the fortress. Should be a little time to shop downtown too! Not bad for one day's worth of travel!!
